English Spring Honey
A sweet English Spring Honey produced by bees that forage on the spring blossom within Berkshire's open countryside. This is a pure honey that is light in colour and tends to set in the jar once it has come straight from our own beehives. It's perfect spread over toast, on top of yoghurt or included in your favourite home recipes.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
English Spring Honey is from the first part of the season and is made from the nectar of a mix of flowers and plants including ceanothus, field maple, willow, cherry, sycamore, and oil seed rape. No two batches of our honey are the same, each with their own character and flavour.
This is a ‘raw honey'; pure honey, taken straight from the hive, extracted and strained by hand and poured into jars. We do not mix it with anything else, we don’t warm the honey, it’s simple and straightforward; just how nature intended.
Our English Spring Honey harvests tend to naturaly set in the jar and this is down to the types of flora the bees foraged on. This means it is perfect for spreading, but if you would like to soften the honey, simply set the jar in some warm water (not too hot); after a short amount of time it will go runny again.
